Position Title: Head Retreat Cook
Hours: Full-time position with complete benefits package – salary based on experience. Optional on-site housing benefit available.
The retreats cook is responsible for creating and serving meals to guests at our conference and retreat center. This includes, but is not limited to: preparing menus and food, ordering food and supplies, as well as maintaining and managing the Conference Center kitchen. The foremost duty is to provide well-balanced meals to our guests. The retreat cook works closely with the Retreats Director and other Metigoshe Ministries employees. Expectations include following all local and state safety and sanitation policies while maintaining a hospitable atmosphere for all guests.
High school diploma or GED or above
Previous cooking experience
Ability to meet physical job requirements
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Good communication skills
Food safety certification required
