LOCATION: Varies – Good Samaritan, Dunseith Community Nursing Home, St. Andrews Clinic, Trinity, etc.
TYPE OF APPONTMENT: This is a part-time position during fall, spring, and summer terms. Looking for someone to work 1-4 days a week. Shifts would be 6-9 hours, depending on location.
JOB SUMMARY: Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) is seeking part-time instructors to assist with clinical courses to undergraduate students in the practical nursing and associate degree nursing programs. The persons selected for the position will be responsible for planning, implementation, teaching, and evaluating of student learning at the clinical site. This person will also be responsible for nursing skills assessment, course instruction, and course assessment at the clinical site. This position requires strong organizational skills, technical and professional writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Training provided.
Minimum Requirements: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required to teach clinical courses in the Practical Nursing program or a Master of Science Nursing, Nursing Education, or related area, or currently enrolled in a master’s degree program with an education plan approved by the CNE which will allow completion of the master’s degree program within three years is required to teach clinical courses in the Associate Degree Nurse program.
SALARY/BENEFITS: BSN – $35/hour, MSN – $40/hour
