Interim Library Assistant @ Dakota College at Bottineau

  • Temporary Part-time, 6-month, non-benefited position
  • Job Functions and Responsibilities: Serve as the assistant to the Library Director, provide library support services to the campus community, utilize library management software for day-to-day library functions, management of student workers, book cataloging and processing, and general library patron support.
  • Qualifications Required: 1) Associate degree in education, English, or related area; 2)Strong writing skills 3)Excellent customer service skills 4) Experience with Technology and Microsoft Office
  • Qualifications Preferred: 1)Bachelor’s degree in education, English or related area; 2) Experience working in Higher Education 3) Library Experience
  • Hours & Salary: 32 hours a week, $16-$18 per hour, depending on experience
  • Closing Date: Screening of applicants will begin on July 11th.
  • Starting Date: Position begins on July 25th or sooner
