 JOB DESCRIPTION: Dakota College at Bottineau is seeking an instructor to teach courses in education, special education, and early childhood education fields to undergraduate students in associate-level degree programs. Advising students, curriculum development, outcomes assessment, institutional committee work, program promotion and coordination, distance delivery of coursework, and community service and outreach are inherent to the position.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Master’s degree in education, master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credits in education, or bachelor’s degree with a willingness to complete a master’s degree during the first four years of employment. Successful teaching experience or equivalent professional experience.

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: Previous experience 1) coordinating educational programs,  2) teaching college-level courses, and 3) working with special populations of students.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Successful applicant will be required to pass a criminal history background investigation prior to employment.

SALARY: Commensurate upon education and experience.
