Are you looking for inspiration in preparation to this year’s growing season? Get connected with resources in the state that help local growers at FARRMS’ 2020 Spring Tour hosted by Dakota College at Bottineau and FARRMS.
Join us for a full day of learning at Dakota College of Bottineau’s Entrepreneurial Center for Horticulture. Learn about the specialty crop, hemp and aquaponic production systems. We will be touring 5 high tunnels and a state of the art wash/pack facility on campus. The ECH is a demonstration site for production and growing techniques, and has one plot of certified organic production area and intends to model organic production methods inside and outside of the growing structures. In this way, producers can see firsthand the methods that can be used to extend the season and produce a safe product for market.
